Only two more weeks separate us from the start of DreamHack Bucharest 2014 and it’s our pleasure to finally reveal the full details for the DOTA 2 Invitational tournament that will be hosted on April 26-27 at Sala Polivalentă in Bucharest, Romania.

Four world-renowned squads will battle out over the course of two days in a double-elimination, best of 3, bracket for a $25,000 prize pool:

  • Natus Vincere - The International champions, runners-up at TI2 and TI3, StarSeries Season 8 champions
  • Alliance – The International 3 champions, winners of the Dota 2 Champions League, runners-up in StarSeries Season 8
  • fnatic – XMG Captain’s Draft Invitational champions, runners-up in the ASUS ROG DreamLeague Kick-Off Season
  • Cloud9 - MLG Columbus champions, Monster Energy Invitational runners-up and current leaders in the 1st season of ASUS ROG DreamLeague

But that’s not all, because through the purchase of the Digital Ticket available in the Dota 2 Store, fans around the world will not only have the ability to watch all the matches in-game and don the Noble Warrior Phantom Lancer set created by mihalceanu, they will also directly support their favorite teams:

  • 1st place: $13,000 + 40% of the digital ticket proceeds*
  • 2nd place: $7,000 + 30% of the digital ticket proceeds*
  • 3rd place: $5,000 + 20% of the digital ticket proceeds*
  • 4th place: 10% of the digital ticket proceeds*
